Tome I : L'Eternité fragile. Tome II : Innocence et vérité. Tome III : Le Palais des mirages.

Why, in the dying days of the Napoleonic Empire, did half of Paris turn out for the funeral of a composer? The death of André-Ernest-Modeste Grétry in 1813 was one of the sensations of the age, setting off months of tear-stained commemorations, reminiscences and revivals of his work. To understand this singular event, this interdisciplinary study looks back to Grétry’s earliest encounters with the French public during the 1760s and 1770s, seeking the roots of his reputation in the reactions of his listeners. The result is not simply an exploration of the relationship between a musician and his audiences, but of developments in musical thought and discursive culture, and of the formation of public opinion over a period of intense social and political change. The core of Grétry’s appeal was his mastery of song. Distinctive, direct and memorable, his melodies were exported out of the opera house into every corner of French life, serving as folkloristic tokens of celebration and solidarity, longing and regret. Grétry’s attention to the subjectivity of his audiences had a profound effect on operatic culture, forging a new sense of democratic collaboration between composer and listener. This study provides a reassessment of Grétry’s work and musical thought, positioning him as a major figure who linked the culture of feeling and the culture of reason - and who paved the way for Romantic notions of spectatorial absorption and the power of music.

They've tried to destroy each other for centuries, but they've failed... So God and the Devil plan a contest to finally decide who will rule eternity: each will send their top candidate to earth. The champions will have seven days to draw mankind towards good or evil, respectively. God picks his favorite angel, a ravishing young woman named Zofia. Lucifer picks Lucas, a male demon with devilishly good looks. The battlefield: present day San Francisco. The winner will rule mankind forever after: they have seven days for an eternity. Neither God nor the Devil could foresee that the two rivals, unaware of the other's identity, would cross paths from the very start of the contest. Nor did they imagine that they could fall in love... "A love story that is both funny and moving...' - Le Parisien

It is 1967. In separate wings of a Viennese hospital, two men lie bedridden. The narrator, named Thomas Bernhard, is stricken with a lung ailment; his friend Paul, nephew of the celebrated philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, is suffering from one of his periodic bouts of madness. As their once-casual friendship quickens, these two eccentric men begin to discover in each other a possible antidote to their feelings of hopelessness and mortality—a spiritual symmetry forged by their shared passion for music, strange sense of humor, disgust for bourgeois Vienna, and great fear in the face of death. Part memoir, part fiction, Wittgenstein’s Nephew is both a meditation on the artist’s struggle to maintain a solid foothold in a world gone incomprehensibly askew, and a stunning—if not haunting—eulogy to a real-life friendship.

The Dragons of Eternity were once creatures of mist and legend. Now they’ve returned to the world, prepared to claim what’s rightfully theirs… Tayla is desperate for a place to call home. After years on the run, the young imp impulsively buys a teahouse and is determined to build a new life. Unfortunately, she’s barely opened the doors when she’s tracked down by the dragon who purchased her from troll slave-traders. He demands she pay off her debts…in his harem. Baine has devoted a quarter of a century to tracking down his beautiful concubine. And now that he has her in his grasp, he’s not about to let her go. But it’s soon apparent that he isn’t the only demon hunting her. He must uncover her secrets or risk losing her forever. “Ivy always packs her books with buckets of action, emotion and sexy sizzle. Another winner!” —Romantic Times on Devoured by Darkness “The romantic dynamic is smoldering and the seduction focuses on compelling trust, increasing the appeal.” —Publishers Weekly on My Lord Vampire Dear Reader From the moment I introduced the mysterious dragon, Baine, in Darkness Avenged I knew that I wanted to know more about him. He was cunning, elusive, with a hint of dark secrets in his past. Even better, he was lethally sexy. The perfect hero. My GUARDIANS OF ETERNITY, however, already had a large cast of vampires and Weres and fey creatures. There wasn’t much room for Baine and his equally fascinating friends. Which was why I came up with a new spin-off, THE DRAGONS OF ETERNITY. For those who haven’t read my previous series, this is a perfect place to start. And for those who have enjoyed the Guardians, I can promise there will be a few scenes with your favorite gargoyle, Levet! I hope you enjoy Baine’s story!
